The Chief Returning Officer, Dr Costas Constantinou replied to press questions in the framework of his statement on the final voter turnout.

Asked to state if anything noteworthy occurred since the last update, the Chief Returning Officer replied negatively and added that "some minor issues were immediately handled by the Returning Officers".

To a journalist's question as to where he ranks these elections based on his overall experience of conducting elections, Dr Constantinou replied: "The previous election process was carried out under the extraordinary conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was an unprecedented experience for all of us. I have told my colleagues with whom we worked in the 2021 Parliamentary Elections that anything else after that seems easier. I think, however, that the elections we had these two Sundays were exemplary. Political civility was demonstrated at an exceptionally high level.” Concluding, he congratulated the voters for the very high level of political civility demonstrated in these two election processes.
