Elections 2024 – Statement by the Chief Returning Officer, Dr Elikkos A. Elia, on the recommencement of the voting at 1:00 p.m.
After a one-hour interval, the voting has recommenced at 1:00 p.m.
On this occasion, as Chief Returning Officer, I once again urge all voters to come to the polling stations to exercise their right to vote. In this way, they will responsibly elect the people who will represent our country in the European Parliament for the next five years, as well as the people who will be the heads of the Local Government, which directly affects citizens’ daily life in view of its major reform.
