The Republic of Cyprus, in cooperation with the Government of the French Republic, in the framework of their joint commitment to provide assistance to the Lebanese Armed Forces, delivered today, Friday, January 24^th 2025, a total of 33 tons of supplies and support equipment to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

The shipment was handed over to the Lebanese Armed Forces represented by Brigadier General Tony Abboud, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, in a brief ceremony held this morning at the port of Beirut, in the presence of the Ambassadors of Cyprus and France. 

The Republic of Cyprus wishes to express its gratitude to the French Republic for its cooperation and for providing the means to transport the material, and once again emphasises its commitment to supporting, with all its capabilities, the Republic of Lebanon and its people.
