The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the monthly electronic publication “Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (by commodity and country)” for January - November 2018. It includes detailed quantity and value data on imports and exports of domestically produced goods and foreign goods, classified by the sixth digit commodity code and by partner country.

The main developments in Cyprus foreign trade were:

(a) Total imports in January-November 2018 amounted to €8.274,2 mn as compared to €7.491,0 mn in January-November 2017. Total exports (covering total exports to third countries and to EU member states) in January-November 2018 were €4.081,8 mn compared to €2.735,5 mn in January-November 2017. The trade deficit was €4.192,4 mn in January-November 2018 compared to €4.755,5 mn in the corresponding period of 2017.

(b) Total exports of domestically produced goods, excluding stores and provisions, in January - November 2018 were €1.460,3 mn compared to €1.129,3 mn in January - November 2017. Total domestic exports of industrial products in January - November 2018 were €1.365,1 mn compared to €1.020,4 mn in January - November 2017. Total domestic exports of agricultural products in January - November 2018 were €85,4 mn compared to €90,9 mn in January - November 2017.
