The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, Mr Tilak Marapana
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, will meet today with the Foreign Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Mr Tilak Marapana, who is in Cyprus for an official visit. Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss issues pertaining to the strengthening of bilateral relations, the latest developments on the Cyprus issue, as well as EU-Sri Lanka relations. Following the meeting, Mr Christodoulides will host a working lunch, with the participation of delegations of the two Ministries.
Tomorrow, 28 February 2019, the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Sri Lanka will inaugurate the General Consulate of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Nicosia. Mr Tilak Marapana will have a courtesy call with the President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, as well as a meeting with the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, Ms Zeta Emilianidou.
