Mr Savvas Angelides was born on 26 January 1974 in Nicosia. He is married to Ms Maria Charalambous Angelides and they have two children, Andreas and Melina.

He is a graduate of the Archiepiskopos Makarios III Dasoupolis Lyceum. On 1991 he joined the Army of the Republic of Cyprus as Reserve Officer Second Lieutenant (Infantry). He studied Law in England, graduating on 1996 from the University of Birmingham (Bachelor of Law-LLB). He attended the Gray's Inn-Bar Vocational Course and holds the title of Barrister at Law. 

After returning to Cyprus, he excelled in the examination of the Cyprus Bar Αssociation and obtained his licence to practice Law in 1997.

He is a founding partner of the LLPO Law Firm, and since 2010 he is a Partner, Director and Lawyer of Angelides, Ioannides, Leonidou LLC.

He handled complicated cases in Cyprus Courts and abroad, including criminal, civil, medical negligence and company law, as well as arbitrations. He has vast experience in giving legal opinions in mostly criminal, tort and insurance law. Also he represented his firm at the European Association of Personal Injuries Lawyers  and he has been a member of the National Betting Authority.  

Since 2013 he is a visiting lecturer of Criminal Law and Procedures at Frederick University. Moreover, Mr Angelides is an author of several articles on legal issues and keynote speaker on legal aspects at several seminars.
