Announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding crash of Russian passenger plane

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus extends its deepest condolences to the people and government of the Russian Federation over the tragic crash of the An-148 passenger plane, which took place in the greater Moscow area.

Cyprus expresses its solidarity and sympathy to the families of the victims at these difficult moments.
