The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr Andreas P. Kouzoupis, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, on Thursday, 29 November 2018.

Conveying the warm greetings of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, the Ambassador of Cyprus referred to the great importance Cyprus attaches to further enhancing and deepening its bilateral and trilateral relations with Jordan, a beacon of stability and security in the Middle East.

In his reply, King Abdullah II, asked the Ambassador to convey his warm regards to President Anastasiades. Referring to the excellent relations between Cyprus and Jordan, the King noted with satisfaction the trilateral cooperation developed between Cyprus, Jordan and Greece and expressed his country’s will to enhance further the economic and commercial ties with Cyprus.
